How often do I need to change my Mach3 Razor Blades?
All of the Mach3 blades in this pack offer up to 15 comfortable shaves per refill. That adds up to 36 weeks of shaving depending on how frequently you happen to use your Gillette Mach3 razor blades, of course. All of the Mach3 razors in the range - including those in our Mach3 Value Pack - offer this longevity, especially when used together with shaving gel or foam. Remember to inspect your Gillette Mach3 blades for signs of wear and dullness. These can often be avoided by cleaning your razor blades in water after shaving and allowing each Gillette Mach3 razor refill you use to dry properly on its Mach3 razor handle before it is used again.
How do I change the blades in my Mach3 Razor?
There is an easy-release button located above your Mach3 razor handle behind the cartridge refill. All you need to do is to push on this and the spent Mach3 razor blades will be released with the cartridge. You can then connect your new Gillette Mach3 razor blades to the handle in just the same way as the old one was released. You will feel it snap into place when a good connection has been made with your Gillette razor handle. Your replacement razor blades are then good to go whether you want to finish shaving or for use next time.

I bought a pack with 12 blades plus a Mach 3 razor, I’ve bought several of these I now have four razors, if a alternative pack of twelve blades was available without the razor and the price reduction maybe that would make more sense.

After trying out a few of the 'New kids on the block', the new subscription razor companies, I have returned to what I know best, the undeniable quality of the Gillette Mach 3. In comparison yes, it does cost a little more but what you get is value for money and confidence of a clean shave, less nicks and smoother skin from the lubrication strip. Stick to what you know, stick with the Mach 3 !
