This shaver looks really great and I had high hopes for it being a Gillette/Braun collaboration. I found the shaver to be very weak powered. I had to keep going over areas and found my stubble looked patchy in areas it hadn't evenly shaved. I also really struggled around the chin and under nose areas to effectively shave these. I ended up having to go over with another shaver (Philips OneBlade and Braun beard trimmer) to get desired results. Very disappointing - I think they need to improve the power/sharpness of this trimmer to make it effective.

I gave this a try over my traditional electric shaver and I was impressed. The shave was great and the shaver itself is very compact so much easier to take when travelling. Very impressed and will definitely be using it to replace my traditional shaving setup.

My boyfriend liked the fact the battery lasted 45 mins per charge & that it was waterproof so he could use it in the shower which several shavers you can’t, the shave wasn’t that close and occasionally pulled (without cutting) when used outside of the shower

Blade cuts well, able to shave in upwards or downwards motions. 3 attachments. The shaver is well built, and easy to use. It is not very powerful, and you may have to go over the same spot more than once to cover it off. Perhaps most useful for an infrequent or newer shaver.

I usually trim my neckline and face using a traditional cut throat razor with all the hazards that brings but with a super smooth face and was in the market for an alternative, that was quicker and easier to use, when I saw this in my local asda and thought lets give it a go. Straight out of the box there was a decent charge to have a go at shaping my face and was pleasantly surprised to find its waterproof and could also be used in the shower/bath if you have a mirror set up in these places. The overall shave was close, but not as close as a wet cutthroat shave, the King shaver though gave me manoeuvrability and cleaner lines with its double blades head, where traditionally with a normal/cutthroat razor this would have been hard to achieve. Used this razor a number of times and i can't wait to start experimenting with different designs on my beard

Been using the shaver for a few weeks now and was hoping it would meet up to its rival Phillips one blade standard. It doesn’t seem to have as much power and using without any guards doesn’t give you quite as close shave. When using the guards it does cut well and will give you an even length shave but it’s hard to create sharp crisp lines meaning I had to use another shaver to achieve this. It is pretty light weight and doesn’t get stuck or catch so would highly recommend for anyone just keeping a beard/stubble trimmed but you may need other tools to finish your style.

my husband had really high hopes for this shaver. It looks very stylish and premium and the head of the shaver being double-sided means it's easier to use on the awkward parts that you can't always get to. it didn't shave as my husband expected it to even after a few attempts it was just not what my husband gets with his normal electric trimmer which was disappointing because of the style of the product and how easy it was to hold and the battery charge is exceptional but the finish he likes was just not happening with this razor

After receiving this I checked out the others available it would have been good to have had the body attachment as well but for the beard, stubble design is was very good and great to use.

I was gifted this from supersavvy and gave it to my fiancé for an early father's day gift. First impressions lobed the packaging looks like a luxury item. The shaver comes with 3 attachments for different lengths on the stubble and the shaver itself is small and perfect for travel. Overall works very well although could be a bit more powerful

Product was received free for testing and review. I was very pleasantly surprised when opening the King C. Gillette Men's Style Master when it came to its build quality and design - it looks slick, premium and feels very sturdy. Interestingly, it is a Braun brand unit, which is great. For the RRP of the unit (£19.99 RRP UK), this feels very high quality and good value when comparing to other electric shaver trimmers or even the classic manual shave products. The King C. Gillette Men's Style Master came with 3 trimming length adaptors - 1mm, 3mm and 5mm. I found it strange and disappointing that the manual lists several other length adaptors, presumably included with higher price variants, but they were not included with this. The inclusion of the other adaptors accross the range would have been much better. In terms of performance, the King C. Gillette Men's Style Master is great with no attachments in detail trimming, but doesn't give the closest shave possible - vs. razor/blades, electrics wont ever been as close, but my other Braun shaver provides closer and smoother results. The King C. Gillette Men's Style Master is versatile and you can use it to trim body hair as well as facial, especially with the aid of the adaptors, much more safely than with a razor - which is a great benefit. Overall, with consideration of the price point and build quality, I would definitely recommend the King C. Gillette Men's Style Master. Its not the best, but its a great secondary electric shaver to have to hand. It would have gotten an extra star had it come fitted with a USB-C charging function. Pros: - Stylish and compact - Ideal for saving on clutter and travel (in terms of packing - see cons for the negative aspect for this) - The trim length adaptors are easy to fit and clean. - Very premium build - it feels a lot more premium than the price tag suggest (£19.99 RRP UK). You get a lot for this price. Cons: - Proprietary charging system - its 2022, USB-C would have been ideal and more user friendly for travel convenience and less e-waste. Not ideal to have to pack yet another charger in your travel bag. - Short battery time - this will give you around 40 min of use from each charge and will take about 9 hours to fully charge. Not a huge issue, but for travel, in relation to the above point, this wont last a long trip without having to be charged with its proprietary charger. - Not as effective as other devices for thicker hair - you will have to go over areas several times but it gets the job done eventually.
