Rinse your double edge razor blade in hot, clean water after you have shaved until all the residue that may have collected there has been removed. Hold the razor by its handle with the blades pointing down. Inspect your blade to ensure all the shaving foam and cut hair attached to it has been removed. Next, allow your razor to aerate and put it away somewhere it won't get splashed until you're ready to shave with it next time.

Excellent DE safety razor blades. Very impressed with the quality of my shaving experience. Quite the closest shave I have ever had in 60 years! Tried all makes and qualities over the years but these are very good indeed. It is not unusual for me to get 9 shaves with 3 passes each time ( recommend by the perfectionist shavers ). Whereas 2/3 shaves with my previous blades. I am using a Gillette razor so maybe that also makes a difference? Well pleased, thanks Gillette.
