Turn your Heated Razor on to warm to your preferred temperature setting and apply shaving cream, gel or foam as you usually would. You can then shave in a conventional manner, working with the direction of the growth of your facial hair, to remove it accurately and closely with the feel of a hot towel shave at home. We celebrate the Gillette Labs Heated Razor because it is a world's first in shaving technology offering something new. In short, this is the technology that's been developed to heat the razor blades which enables a smooth shaving experience much like a hot towel shave you might obtain from a professional. The major difference is that this technology has been developed for home shaves which is more cost-effective and convenient.
Like our exfoliation razors, you can remove the blade head by simply pushing the circular button at the top of the handle. The current set of blades will disconnect from the Heated Razor's FlexDisc mounting and you can clip in the next cartridge by hand with ease.
Keep your Gillette Labs Heated Razor on its magnetic charging station so that it is ready to go when you want it. The stand also helps your Gillette Labs Heated Razor to dry out after use, so it stays in top condition. Just rinse it after use. Don't wipe or tap it because this may affect the precise alignment of the five blades.
The Gillette Labs Heated Razor has five blades but because they are supplied in a cartridge, they are considered to be safe by most airlines. Check with your operator if you have questions about taking your razors or even an entire Gillette Labs Heated Razor travel kit with you as hand luggage.
All Gillette Labs products are designed for facial shaving. You could use your razor for other body parts, but we recommend specific products for body hair, such as our Intimate Grooming collection, for example.
