Was great - until it stopped working
1I purchased this razor in January of last year - it's been great up until the last few days where its now stopped charging completely.I've logged a case with support but am not sure where I stand as I've had the razor for more than 12 months. I certainly won't be purchasing another, even though I've just bought another large pack of blades for it. Hopefully they offer a swap out service, their website states it should last for 5 years, its only just lasted a year. Looks like there are a number of other people with the same issue and it appears to be a battery issue with the razor handle. Avoid until this is resolved - it's a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't last.
Great Shave But.........
3The Gillette Labs gives a great shave but I recently went on holiday and took a Fusion with me.  I got as good a shave and it felt the same as the heated razor when I held it under the hot tap. I don't know why the blades are more expensive because I can't think they are more expensive to produce.The nose slicer blade is common to both blades but the blunt indicator has been removed from the new one.  Just as well because I am capable of telling when a new blade is required and may have thrown out ones that are still sharp.

5I‚Äôve had every Gillette razor model as they‚Äôve produced over the Years.. and Nothing Compares to this bit of Kit! The heat off the blade is Instant and glides through hair with Easy!Leaving a Smooth , Fresh Clean Cut, with the feeling of a Hot blade that feels Therapeutic and Relaxing on face & Neck. I‚Äôm More than Pleased with this model, and tbh I think is my Last Stop with the Gillette‚Äôs Models, as I don‚Äôt think anything can be made better than this. I will Cherish this until the End of its days. Superb! üëåü説†
Heated razor
3Not as good as past gillette razors..not as close and more strokes needed for close and moustache under nostrils is impossible to get close...first blade I used the white soap strip fell out after couple swipes..heat bar is instant but I shave in shower so don't really notice it.

5Brilliant shave and the warming bar makes for a superb experience. The razor is well constructed and looks good.Best shave and razor I have had.

5Great razor gives the best shave I have had in years the heat function is a excellent idea and gives an amazing feeling shave highly recommend

Gimmick Razor
1Great sales pitch, but offers little,¬†It was a gift, but failed with charging after about 6 months, handle just flashes but no longer heats up, ¬†it is a sealed unit so you cannot change the battery which renders it no better than a basic razor, it is heavy and cumbersome and not user friendly for your travel bag.Better razors on the market without the heated gimmicküëéüèª

5I have to say l was a bit dubious about buying the heated razor as l thought of it perhaps being a bit of a gimmick. I certainly wasn‚Äôt disappointed with my purchase. I got the starter kit which was a bargain at ¬£50 !!! I won‚Äôt go on but will say if you can afford to get the heated razor, then get one . I will also say it does look very classy standing upright on its magnetic base !!! Ok the blades are pricey but you get what you pay for, and l have to say they give a super shave and are very sharp üë嬆
